Paramore Interiors, Inc: Something Special for Every Home
-M. Wilson
"Love what you do and do what you love." Peggy Paramore of Paramore Interiors, Inc. is an award winning licensed designer who does just that. From every fiber of her being, she exudes the love and creativity of her profession.
Just walking into the Paramore Interiors showroom in Temple Terrace is a feast for the eyes and the senses. Peggy shared stories and plenty of tips and tricks as she showed us her exclusive collection of interior accessories, limited edition prints, artist originals, furniture, Oriental and area rugs, jewelry, and gifts.
Our group was in awe as we looked on the shelves and tables at the unusual hand blown glass pieces. Peggy has established relationships with four glass artists from four different countries--Russia, Italy, Romania, and England. She converses with them and shares ideas--the Romania artist recently sent a beautiful hand blown ceiling light fixture that hangs over the showroom desk. I was immediately attracted to it and could visualize it hanging in my own work area.
Paramore Interiors has the unusual and unique for every taste: contemporary, old world, antiques, to a little funk. As Peggy says, "It's like a little secret treasure chest. The more you dig down into the box, the more jewels you come up with."
When Peggy is hired to assist with the interior design of a home or office, she has the ability to see a room as an artist sees a blank canvas--full of color, tones, warmth, space, and possibilities. Peggy knows how to read her clients and create the living space that suits their taste and lifestyle.
While Peggy has a flare for finding the unusual, she also has a deep respect for the budget. She shops wisely and works with her clients to design and get the most from their decorating dollars. For example, Peggy offers a wide range of designs, sizes, colors, and options in rugs. "If you are not a collector of Orientals, wool is wool. I look for what works."
Rather than tackling more than your budget allows, Peggy suggests selecting one or two rooms to focus on. I know that I have done this myself and it just feels good to see one room completed.
If rooms are small, Peggy can create the illusion and depth of space. If a room is so humungous that you feel lost or cold, then she will add more wood. Peggy's goal is to create a feeling of comfort and balance; she considers the atmosphere, the lighting, colors, soothing sounds such as water, and the positioning of furniture and accessories. "Anytime you put something on a 45 degree--even though it requires more space and more products--it creates that essence of space."
Peggy showed me a set of blueprints that she was reviewing for one of her clients. Peggy likes to say that she has a "black belt" in staging. She can look at a set of blueprints with her eagle eyes and "see" the space and determine if entryways, walkways, and hallways are functional. She scans the blueprint for electrical, phone, and entertainment wiring. She considers the windows, doors, and wall spaces. Peggy can enhance the design and avoid flaws that might never be realized until move in day.
Peggy has construction knowledge; she offers suggestions and designs to her clients that will give their home character and create the living style that is comfortable for them. From kitchens, baths, flooring, built in cabinetry, window treatments, to outdoor living space Peggy works with her clients to provide ideas, education, and a home that they will enjoy for years and years. Peggy has a "dream team" that she calls upon to build and create the unusual and unique for her clients.
When you are ready to decorate, renovate, change colors, or add character to your home or business, Peggy is the person to assist you. Whether you are looking for that special piece of furniture that creates a focal point in your home, decorating an entire room or rooms, staging a business or a model home or a property for sale, Peggy's expertise and knack for the unusual will amaze you. "Everything has its place and knowing how to integrate unique pieces is my specialty. It is all about the details and how to use them."
